If you read my last post [Tristan and Godzilla], you'll know that in the summer of 2013 I had my first commissioned session. Over the course of the next year I had a handful of friends ask me to do shoots for them, to which I finally acquiesced.

Marcela happened to be the first of several to ask me for headshots for work. I'd known her for a few years and always found her to be a sweet friend, especially as we hung out on the sidelines watching our girls play soccer.

Last August, we met at a local coffee shop surrounded by a pleasant garden area. She said the hardest part was trying to keep a straight face, as I kept making her laugh. We share a similar sense of humor, much to our mutual enjoyment! Of course, her smile speaks for itself.
